Totals
I use an access database on a FrontPage website where users record the hours

and minutes they devote to a project. This data is kept in 2 columns of an

access table. I need a way to at least total those columns and at best

produce a total where the minutes over 60 are converted to hours.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Writing to Excel from VBA
In Access97 I'm writing a short routine that loops through the tables

collection. I want to write the various table DDL information to an Excel

file. How can I do that? Alternatively, would it be a whole lot easier to

simply write a tab-delimited string to a text file; then manually import

that into Excel?

Thanks!

Pocket PCs & Databases

that can run wireless & use databases & Email.

I understand "Microsoft databases" can run on

Pocket PCs.

Is Access a DB will can run on a Pocket PC?

I'm looking to collect data & Email DBF files

to be Imported at Regional Offices. IF Lotus

Notes can also run on a Pocket PC, I'm ready

to make this work.

I currently use Regional Access DBs to send DBF

files via Lotus Notes for Importing at the Corporate Office.

Any insight welcomed.

Access 2003 database copied and pasted
I need to have a copy of my Access 2003 DB on the shared drive at our office.

Coworkers must have access to my records, but I don't want them to be able to

alter my records.

I thought by copying and pasting my DB, it would create a separate DB and if

they changed something, it wouldn't affect me. But, they are linked and any

change they make appears in my DB and vice versa. I tried locking (read-only)

the copy on the shared rive, but it locks mine as well.
