If you have experience converting a MS-Access2002 business application (about 
 
130 different processes) to a web product with SQL backend and using , 
 
preferably, ASP.NET can you tell me: 
 
Did you use a conversion software product and, if so, which one. 
 
Briefly your experience - was it successful? 
 
Any tips and/or caveats?

Hi, 
 
I create a simple Access 2000 DB. Then I create a DAP using 
 
AutoPage:Columnar that's based on that DB. The DAP opens and shows the data 
 
in page view, no problems so far. 
 
I save the DAP, then try to view web page preview, the browser opens up but 
 
nothing shows up, the browser is completely blank. 
 
I've entered the path (server/folder/file) to the DB and verified the 
 
connection is working fine, but still can't see data in DAP.

I run a data access page on secure site.  When people go to the site, people 
 
are still prompted to add this site to their trusted sites.  I got a  secure 
 
site to avoid this nusiance to the person going to the web site. 
 
Any ideas on how to avoid this problem?

I've done what Help instructed me to do and re-ordered my controls through 
 
their individual property sheets (TabIndex) -- but, it doesn't work, and the 
 
tabs are probably remaining in the order in which I originally created the 
 
controls. What am I doing wrong?

When i try to import data from a spredsheet. I get this error messege: 
 
Microsoft Office was unable to append all the data in the table. 
 
The content of fields were deleted and lost due to key violations... 
 
But when i copy the cell's directly from excel it works.... 
 
This problem accures onely when I import data to fields that collects data 
 
from other tables. (combo box'es?) 
 
Are there anyone there who can help me?

My data base is designed for my staff to complete notes for their clients. 
 
Each client has a service plan with several goals.  I want to store these 
 
goals in seprate fields in the client profile and then be able to select them 
 
from a list box to place them in the note table.  These fields are text 
 
fields that are longer than 255 charaters.  I dont think Hyperlinks will work 
 
for this.  Does anyone have an idea how I can do this?

I am trying to write some code that will clear a few checkboxes on a 
 
data access page in Access 2000. I have four checkboxes that I would 
 
like to have cleared at a single button press. Is this possible with a

I have a DAP (a login page) that works perfectly when it is in the same 
 
folder as the main database; however, when it is moved to a different 
 
folder it no longer functions. I use cookies to pass parameters between 
 
pages and I've found that the cookie is not being received by other 
 
pages in the seperate folder with the database. Is there anyway to 
 
allow cookies regardless of the location of the page? Thanks in advance.

i have created a table with the field headings (Date Reported,By

I just set up a DAP to access data from an MS access 2k3 database.  It works 
 
when the useremoteprovider set to false and access it locally however when I 
 
attempted to publish it via IIS 5.1  and set the useremoreprovider to true I 
 
would always get error 500 internet server error.  I set up the MSADC 
 
virtual directory and now I do not receive the error however all that shows 
 
is a blank page when the DAP is accessed via the web.  I am using access 
 
2003 and XP pro.

I want to host my Access2003 .mdb database on the internet from my 
 
iDisk or the free space that we get from our ISP. I think I'm doing 
 
everything correctly but it's not working. 
 
The help says Data Access Pages only works with IIS. Is this typical MS
