This is the most useless diagnostic message I get from MSAccess. Why can't

it at least give me the name of the item it is handling?

Hi Tony!

I was designing a long macro to run from a report "on format" event making

certain labels visible or in invisible. I eventually found that one data

item I was using in a condition was not displayed on the report, resulting

in the illogical "Type Mismatch" error. My problem was the time taken to

find this, due the lack of any information about the name of the data item.

How do I add this suggestion onto the Access Development team's wish list?

Cheers, Chris
