6/30/2006 6:42:03 AM    Create a "search-by-typing" list
Using Access 2003.

I have a subform consisting of an alphabetized list of names . I would like

to "search-by-typing" in the list. For example, to find "Cebula", I would

start typing "c-e-b-u-l-a" and it would move down the list, to that name. Can

this be done in Access? Thanks.

Sure - use a combobox, that's it's native behavior.

The Corp Tech Demos has a subform like this at

http://www.invisibleinc.com/divFiles.cfm?divDivID=4. Letters are combined to

search unless the time between key presses is 3 seconds or a match isn't

found.
