We have a utility that creates, partial, filtered replicas. We have to go

into Replman and remove them manually but would like to automate this

process.

How does Replman remove them?

What table(s) in the full replica that the partial replica was created from

are impacted?

Thanks in advance,

RB

Why not fix your procedures so they aren't constantly creating dead

replicas? Have you looked at "anonymous" replicas, by chance?

Michael Kaplan recommended against using them, but they may be what

you're looking for.

I don't know. I've never used ReplMan to remove a dead replica

(though it can be used to remove a defunct *synchronizer*, which is

not at all the same thing).

None that you can edit manually.

I've never removed a dead replica except by attempting a synch with

it. This may need to be done several times if there was more than

one ReplicaID assigned to replicas with that file name/path.
