flag/trigger
Hi,
I have a form that tracks software information such as date purchased,
amount and expiry date. I was wondering if there was anyway to flag/trigger
the system to notify me when the expiry date is near. An email if possible
if not any other way. I would like this so that I know when the expiry date
is near and I need to reorder.
Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

Having used documenter for years, this is a new problem. I've "repaired"
Access from CD 3 times, "reloaded" Access three times, and "reloaded"
MSOffice once. No fix... I only get the header portion of the report, none of
the "options" selections are rendered.

I have Office 2003 installed, and need to install MSAccess 2000
i own Office Premium with Access 2000. Currently, I run Office 2003, no
Access. Now I want to use Access, but when I try to custom install only
Access from the 2000 disk, after a long while, the "Installing Microsoft
Office 2000" window installation process displays an uninformative error (the
text is along the lines of "Installation failed - encountered an error."
It seems that this should be do-able. Any solutions?

Shared database/database spliiter/copy of front end
Hello-
Here's the situation I created. The "raw" data resides in tables in a
database on a server. I created a second database with table links to the
data in the raw data database. 5 end users share/input and viow the data in
the linked table database using forms. Is this design OK? Should I have a
copy of the linked table database on each users computer? If so, how do I
copy the linked table database so the links update properly. In effect, did
I really split the ...

I am trying to make an MDE file of my Database, but for some reason the field

This is greyed out even if I make a new empty database. Repairing Access

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Field relation vs performance
Hi,
I use a database that includes two tables having two fields related with a
one-to-many relation. The join is set to include all records from 'Table1'
and only those records from 'Table2' where the joined fields are equal. That
relation is not absolutely necessary for the integrity of the database so I’m
wondering if is worthwhile to delete the relation if it is going to give
better performance.
The database will not have more than several thousands of records in full
