I'm evaluating SSMA for Access using Northwind

Is there a more comprehensive list available of what the SSMA does that the

Upsizing Wizard does not ?

1) Assessment report pre upsizing

2) Custom data type mapping per table

3) Handling out of range date values during data migration

4) Scripting ability of the converted schema

5) Converting multiple Access MDB files in one shoot

6) Faster data migration (SSMA use bulk copy operation for moving data)

7) Network scan + the ability exporting many Access .MDB schemas into one

SQL Server database for pre upsizing analysis

8) Saving/resuming the migration project

9) Fixing existing bugs currently unfixed in the upsizing wizard

This is from technical point of view. Other important consideration is that

SSMA Access ships every 3 month and respond quickly to customers

feedback\needs.

Upsizing wizard, on the other hand, ships with Office releases.

I recommend using the upsizing wizard in converting to ADP projects. SSMA

does not support it.
