cell and have tried code based on an "if structure" with no success. Has 
 
anyone got any suggestions.

per second, grains etc. and get all of this info on this site

Because a few of my pie chart segments (or is that sectors?!) are very 
 
small percentages, the literals are overwriting each other. I once saw 
 
an example of a pie chart where lines miraculously appeared to 
 
separate the literals out of the way, but I can't find what setting 
 
does all this that. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I need to take the following information and make a timeline chart in 
 
excel 
 
Date Completed/scheduled 
 
Milestone 1          Date1 
 
Milestone 2          Date2 
 
Milestone 3          Date3 
 
In addition to doing this timeline, I need to find out a way to 
 
automate this process so that if the information is load from another 
 
source into excel that it can be processed automatically into a 
 
timeline chart. 
 
I have many projects and need to find a way to track them with a simple 
 
timeline.

I need to be able to create a chart that will update data entered 
 
automatically, in a chart, but is capable of showing many different options 
 
to where the data can come from. I know excel is capable of drop down lists, 
 
but I need to make this application as simple as possible for beginner users.

Each time I create a new graph, it appears micro size. It's difficult and 
 
sometimes not possible to grab the corner to resize. Any ideas?

When I create a new graph, it shows up very, very small. How do I get it 
 
sized right? Trying to graph the edge doesn't always work.

Well I totally agree with miwilla. Furthermore I would like to add that 
 
obviously this problem hasn't even been solved in Excel 2007. I tried the 
 
beta 2 online and the same problem persists. If there is a workaround I would 
 
kindly like to ask you for an explanation. On the other hand I strongly 
 
recommend that the developers take care of that problem, since it affects 
 
many of us dedicated Excel users.

Can anyone help please? 
 
I have a column in my woksheet that contains formulae that refers to blank 
 
cells.  Therefore the result is zero in each cell in my column.  When I use 
 
the data in a chart, I set Tools, Options, Chart tab - plot empty cells as 
 
"Not plotted", but it still plots the cells as zero and distorts my chart. 
 
Is there any way to get is to plot the cells that have a formula where the 
 
result is zero, as "not plotted"? 
 
Any help would be appreciated.

want the top 10 dealers to be on the chart and a sum of the rest as 
 
others. Is that possible?

It would be very helpful, especially for large charts, to be able to 
 
define/create an axis for all sides of the chart.  Currently you can only 
 
have a secondary axis if you have multiple data sets in the chart, but it 
 
would be great if you were able to have the chart print the secondary axis 
 
even with a single data set.  If this was possible, it would make sense to 
 
have each axis be independent of the others, allowing for custom scale,

How do you force the Y-axis to start at a high number in a series of data 
 
points, and move lower as you go up the axis?  I have data about performance 
 
(network delay) that has a goal of zero. Actuals are 20, 40, 50 milliseconds 
 
average per month. X-axis is a category-axis with months listed. The average 
 
has been decreasing, and I would like to show this as a line graph slanting 
 
from the lower left to the upper right, as it approaches 0.

I have a data sheet which depends on x, y, and z. Therefore, the 
 
function is something like z = cx + dy, where c and d are constants and

There is a report I repair that contains a great deal of text that needs to
