Hi, 
 
I faced with a problem in my excel sheet. I made a big table with about 2400 
 
cells. I used hyperlink files in one column. But recently I faced a problem 
 
if I want format a cells, for example: merge two cells, it will send a 
 
massage TOO MANY DIFFERENT CELLS FORMATS" and deny of do it. I don't knew 
 
what happen in my excel sheet. I checked this sheet in another computer, I 
 
haven't any problem. But in new computer, I couldn't use hyperlink of the 
 
files.

I have a ticket for entering sales.  Calculations are performed wihtin the 
 
ticket.  he rows are repeated for each sale.  One calculation is set up to 
 
multiply by a static row at the top with data.  The formula needs extend with 
 
each ticket yet the reference to the row at the top should not extend because 
 
it never repeats within the ticket.  I cannot include the data row within the 
 
ticket because there is a dependent calculation that will be disrupted.  Is

Okay so I have a report which is run every morning.  Once it is complete, the 
 
workbook is shared.  At this point, on the computer of the person running the 
 
report: 
 
1) on Sheet1 the panes are frozen on cell A2 
 
2) on Sheet2 the "zoom" is set to 75% 
 
BUT, when you open the file from another computer, the following occurs: 
 
1) on Sheet1, the panes are now frozen on cell A1 (i.e. above the column 
 
headings, which is pretty useless) 
 
2) on Sheet2, the "zoom" has been re-set to 100% ...

I have shared a workbook (Tools, Share Workbook) on a network drive and I 
 
have disabled "Track changes".  The file starts out at ~2MB and over the 
 
course of a day, grows to over ~20MB!  No rows or columns of data (or even 
 
formulas) are being added to the workbook.  Users are simply updating 
 
existing data.  Can anyone tell me why the file size is increasing so 
 
dramatically?  Thanks in advance for any help.

The following VB.NET code (even extracted from other actions and 
 
stripped of error handling) opens the pivot table correctly, but when I 
 
attempt to close Excel, I get an application error from EXCEL.EXE (The

I've had an Excel document open all day which conists of several sheets. 
 
I've been clicking in and out of the doument, updating it and so on, without 
 
a problem until just now. I clicked on a tab to open a different sheet but, 
 
instead of opening, the 'sheet symbol' attatched itself to my cursor (as 
 
though I wanted to move the sheet to a different place) and I can't do 
 
anything with it. I've tried clicking another sheet to release my cursor but

I am using a spreadsheet provided by head office that is password protected. 
 
it contains a macro that when run, creates a CSV file which is then exported 
 
into an email so i can email the data to head office. it worked fine on the 
 
previous computer i had but for some reason, on i get the error message: 
 
run-time error '1004' - cannot access read only document when ever i try to 
 
run the macro. I am unable to access the macro to change it.

Excell will update the file after I have closed my file and all of the others 
 
on the server. Why does this happen? The file is being used for a shared time

I have a worksheet with data. I need to divide the total price by say 6 
 
different sessions. The numbers do not divide evenly so there might be a 1 or 
 
2 cent balance. I need it to be zero in the end. I need the pennies to be 
 
added to the last session redeemed. A1=374.98(total price), B1=62.50(session 
 
1), C1=62.50(session 2)..... at the end H1=0.00. However 374.98/6 does not 
 
equal to 62.50*6 evenly. Please help me

I have formatted cells to have the text wrap and have unlocked the cells, and 
 
then protected the sheet - in order to keep the formatting intact. I've made 
 
it so users can't format the cells on the protected sheet. When I paste text 
 
into those cells, the text should theoretically wrap, but that doesnt' 
 
happen. Unwrapped text that I paste into cells that have been formatted to 
 
wrap on a protected sheet pastes into the cells as unwrapped text. Anyone 
 
have any ideas why? Is this a bug in Excel?

I am trying to rename a worksheet, and the box keeps popping up that you can 
 
not input certain symbols, but I did not incert any symbols, I keep changing 
 
it to  ca, 12 and nothing works. I can not exit the box, and I need to save 
 
my work, please help!!!

Each time I run a macro I need to shut down Excel, reopen it and then bring 
 
up the macro again.  Same macro, but different sets of info the macro is 
 
producing.  Any suggestions are helpful.

On a spread sheet I have and update regularly has added the word "Group" to 
 
the end of the name now and is now changing cells within the spread sheet. 
 
How do I correct this?

I'm suddenly missing my entire toolbar and menu from excel.  All other 
 
msoffice applications are fine.  When I open an excel domument all I get is 
 
the formula button.  I dont see a drop down or expansion arrow anywhere in 
 
excel.   Help !

What causes the error message "Series formula is too long when trying to drag 
 
a block of data to a chart?

At first the Excel 2002 would crash if I would apptempt to audit and 
 
evaluate the array formula, though the formula might have the correct 
 
result. It crash frequently after I placed an ADO6.0 control on the 
 
userform. What's wrong with it?

When I double click the Excel icon on the desktop in order to open Excel 
 
2002, it takes aboute 25 minutes to open the program. 
 
Can somebody tell me how to solve this problem?
