ASP.NET, SQL Server, WPF, C#, VB.NET

I have formatted cells to have the text wrap and have unlocked the cells, and 
 
then protected the sheet - in order to keep the formatting intact. I've made 
 
it so users can't format the cells on the protected sheet. When I paste text 
 
into those cells, the text should theoretically wrap, but that doesnt' 
 
happen. Unwrapped text that I paste into cells that have been formatted to 
 
wrap on a protected sheet pastes into the cells as unwrapped text. Anyone 
 
have any ideas why? Is this a bug in Excel?

I think that you need to paste the text into the cell using the 'Paste 
 
Special'...'Text' Option.  Otherwise when you do a regular 'Paste', you 
 
are in fact copying ALL of the prior cell's attributes, formatting 
 
included!
