I need to make the date time picker active x control into a singular cell in 
 
Excel. 
 
The filename for the active x control is mscomct2.ocx. 
 
I am just learning VBA, so, I would need a very explicit response, because I 
 
am not certain of the proper syntax nor have to properly run a VBScript in 
 
Excel, without the script being viewed as a Macro.

I have an ActiveX control loading in a webbrowser that will access a 
 
webservice to populate for data. This works fine when I test the control 
 
on my local machine. 
 
But when I actually move it out to the main webserver. It doesn't work. 
 
What am I missing?

I have written an Activex Form. I need to use this in a webpage. 
 
Before I can use this OCX I need to copy certain files to the local 
 
file system. How can this be achieved. 
 
I would prefer a web based installer showing progress of file copy from 
 
web to the local file system. Is it possible? suggest any 
 
component/tool to achieve this.

I am developing a Drag and Drop Activex control using ATL. It has to 
 
accept files from WebDAV. 
 
As far as I understood, the format for transferring files to WebDAV is 
 
CF_HDROP. 
 
However, I am unable to find out what is the data format when files are 
 
dropped from WebDAV to my control. 
 
I tried CF_HDROP, CFSTR_INETURL, CF_TEXT and so on. However, these are 
 
not the formats presented by WebDAV during a drag operation.

Good morning, i'm a vb6 programmer, and i need to understand the COM 
 
technology. So, i must write code under arcGis and to do so i need to 
 
understand the (IInterface... IMap) interfaces relationships, instantiating 
 
new objects etc.. BUT i do not find nothing about conceptual books or papers 
 
in MSDN or other. Anyone who can tell me where i can find logical and after,

I am using clear case and trying to compile a COM component using Visual 
 
Basic 6.0 SP5. The COM component should be compiled on the clear case server. 
 
When I try to compile on the server, I get the above error message. I do not 
 
have any problems compiling on the local machine. I cannot compile on local 
 
and then copy and register the component on the clear case server. This 
 
messes up things. My co-workers are able to compile on the server without any 
 
problems. Any ideas???

Hi, 
 
I wrote an ActivceX component for IE. It uses MFC. It runs just fine on 
 
the machine I developed it but it won't run on any other machine in IE. 
 
I can run regsvr32 cfgmnu.ocx on an other machine if I copy the 
 
mfc80u.dll to that machine, but if I try to access it through IE it 
 
won't run. I created a cab file where I put my ocx file along with the 
 
mfc80u.dll but nothing happens. What am I missing here.

When I develop an ActiveX control using ATL8 in VS2005, and when I  insert it 
 
into MS ActiveX control Pad, then the pad crash immediately. Then I use any 
 
sample activeX control in MSDN developped by ATL8, crash the pad again. 
 
And when I insert these control into MS word, and sve it, it crash the MS 
 
Word. 
 
For VB6, MS Excel and VB.Net, it works fine. 
 
The same controls developped by ATL3.0, no these kinds of crashing problems. 
 
Why???
