I am currently running a single access database in a multi user environment
and am having trouble with corrupt records. When a record is accessed via our
sales program intermitently and with no one else in that same record, the
message appears "....another user has accessed this record....." with three
options to select from: Copy to clipboard, save changes, drop changes. It
doesn't seem to matter what is selected, as soon as an option is selected the
record turns into hieroglyphics and the only way to get rid or correct it is
to get everyone off the db and compact and repair the data file. Also, the
amount of people accessing the db seems to have no bearing what so
ever..........
Has anyone come across this problem or have any ideas as to what my solution
could be?
