I have a question/problem regarding the change from AX 4.0 RTM to AX 4.0
RTM LOC. I downloaded the LOC version. I simply want to add some more
languages to my existing AX 4.0 RTM installation. So I copied the
appropriate .ktd, .ald, ... and help files to the server´s, clients´s
and apllication´s directory. Now I started AX and opened the license
form but on the Language tab only the line for en-us and en-ca exist.
After that I uninstalled the client and the application (not the server
yet) and reinstalled them with the LOC version. The label and helpfiles
are already there but I still cannot add the language license codes as
the license are missing. So I created the needed lines within the
database directly. Within AX I entered the language codes and the status
changed to "OK".
No I switched to the user options as I want to set another language
there, but the drop down selection shows only en-ca and en-us. I have
the feeling that I made a very simple mistake but I did not see/find it
right now.
So if someone knows the answer it would be great if he/she could share
it with me.
