ASP.NET, SQL Server, WPF, C#, VB.NET

Hello, 
 
I am trying to set up the free text invoice application to allow the user to 
 
enter the invoice numbers manually. 
 
If I set up the sequence number to manual, the system does not allow me to 
 
entre the invoice number. 
 
Do you know the required set up to do so?
