Am using OWA, RWW etc. externally at the moment, but without a 3rd party SSL
cert (during setup I just entered the external IP address of the server, so
we access using http://221.2.3.4/exchange etc. (we get asked to ok a cert in
the browser each time and it switches to https, incidentally)
Now going to get the GeoTrust dedicated digital certificate as it seems
cheap - however it seems to talk about entering domain names etc.
There is a website for the company, but it is hosted elsewhere, on a
commercial service. And the mail is just pushed down from the ISP to the
Exchange Server, there are no MX records pointing to the server etc.
Does that mean I'll have to use the external IP again when installing the
cert?? - sorry, this digicert stuff always confuses me...
