Hi there! Has anyone come up against the same problem as the one we're

facing below. Any insights into fixing/overcoming it would be very

grateful.

The particular scenario we are facing with A4SWIFT is that when trying

to install the component on the BizTalk Server machine, we are unable

to

select "A4Swift Components" from the "Custom Installation" dialog box.

If we choose the "Full Installation" option, we are prompted with the

following error "In order to install the run-time components, the user

must be a member of the BizTalk Server Administrators group and SQL

server must be running".

We can confirm that the logged in user is a member of BizTalk Server

Administrators (domain group) and that the SQLServer is running.

Our Test environment (virtual network) simulating our client's network

infrastructure consists of 2 servers:

(i) Server_A (Win2k3 Std + SP1, SQL Server 2000 + SP4, Domain

Controller)

(ii) Server_B (Win2k3 Std + SP1, BizTalk Server 2004 + SP1)

Using this setup, we do not face any problems when installing the

A4SWIFT component. The only way we have managed to replicate the error

message was by (a) removing the logged in user from the BizTalk Server

Administrators group and/or (b) stopping the SQL Server service.

Is there any other reason why we may be facing this problem at the

client site?

Kind regards,

Ned

Well this issue is no longer pending. Have received a response from

Microsoft. There was one case recorder previously. The solution is:

- Unconfigure BizTalk from secondary machine first and than from

Primary

machine

- Delete all the BizTalk related SQL Databases

- Delete all the BizTalk created SQL Logins

- Delete all the BizTalk Domain Local Groups

- Create all BizTalk groups as Domain Global Groups

- Add your login user account to all the new BizTalk Server

Administrators

and SSO Administrators group. Add the BizTalk service account to all

appropriate

BizTalk groups for now.

- On the Biztalk server, log off and log in to create new security

token.

-Configure BizTalk and specify new Global groups and databases

- Install A4SWIFT 2.1

Cheers,
