My certificate for the MCTS:WinForms came in the mail today. 
 
It says on there "Charter Member" arocss the top, and goes on to say that 
 
anyone who gets the certificate prior to October 31st is a Charter Member. 
 
Now I'm just waiting on the MCTS:Enterprise, and the MCPD certificate. 
 
I have to say, I'm not a big fan of the look of these certificates. The 
 
plain paper, and mustard-yellow color really looks pretty bland. They're not 
 
nice enough looking to bother framing, which means t ...

Has anyone passed 70-547 recently?

Hi all, 
 
I have industry experience of 2 1/2 years in .NET and 8 months in VC++ 
 
..I am interested in doing certification. Will somebody sugest me which 
 
certification can be done.

I've been getting all my Certificates for the MCPD:Enterprise in the mail 
 
the last week. 
 
Strangly enough, I've now received two distinct "MCTS" certificates and 
 
cards, and one "Microsoft Certificate of Excellence" that says I'm a "MCTS 
 
..Net 2.0 Web Applications Charter Member". 
 
Funny that the Web Charter Member stuff has arived, but the Windows Charter 
 
Member stuff hasn't. Seeing as I got both on the same day, by passing the 
 
same test (70-553), I've been scratching my head, ...

Has anyone passed the exam recently? I've tried it and failed with 622. The 
 
questions for 70-547 was unclear and in some case with wrong answers.

I am slightly confused by exactly how many exams (and which ones) are need to 
 
achieve MCPD. 
 
It seems on 3 exams are needed: 
 
Exam 70–536 and Exam 70–526 to get MCTS 
 
and then 1 further exam 
 
Exam 70–548 to get MCPD. 
 
Is this right or are there others (assuming no MS exams are currently held)?

Having just completed the MSCD -> MCPD Enterprise upgrade exams, I'm curious 
 
as to how many MCPDs there are. 
 
The exams were much harder and more involved than any of the MSCD.Net exams 
 
that I took. This seems to be a direct response to the criticism about 
 
"paper MCSD's". 
 
I'm curious where the MCPD will end up standing in terms of (for lack of a 
 
better term) industry respect. I would put the MCSD somwhere in the middle - 
 
some industry respect, but not a whole lot.

I'm heading in this Friday to take the 2nd half of the MSCD -> MCPD 
 
Enterprise upgrade (test 70-554) 
 
I've been looking for sample tests, but none of the vendors offer one for 
 
this exam. The closest that I've been able to find are sample tests for 
 
70-529 which is the MCTS Distributed Application Development exam. 
 
MeasureUp! offers this test, but it's $100. 
 
Anyone have any idea how closly 70-529 matches up up with the 70-554?

One of the answers to the questions says:

What's next?

My company wants to send me to the workshops to get certified for MCPD Web 
 
applications using .NET 2.0 Framework.  However, when I go to our local 
 
training company they tell me that not all workshops are available for these 
 
certifications.  Is anyone else having this problem or is it just my local 
 
training company?  This just does not make sense that they would attempt to
