Hi,

I have been getting the error message below and only seem to be able to keep

2 shadow copies from a specific protection group.

There is enough disk space allocated, therefore I am at a loss as to why

this error is occurring.

Could you please check and see if you have this hotfix installed?

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/910330/en-us

I have seen this behavior where all but 2 shadow copies are deleted, and

this hotfix addresses that issue...

If you don't have it previously installed, you can either obtain it through

Windows Update or download here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=5bdec455-ac2e-449d-8fc8-64e12dfe61a8&DisplayLang=en

Thanks Mark, and let us know whether this works! :-)

Hi Mark - we've never seen error 366 before. Can you describe the protection

setup and any other info about this protection group to help investigate

this?

The weird thing is that if DPM has deleted the volume (as described in the

error below), then there should be no shadow copies at all.

Thanks,

FYI... I'm not 100% certain, but I do believe I saw that error when I had

the deleting shadow copy problem a while back... which was fixed by the

hotfix.
