Hello Everyone, 
 
I just setup DPM created a new folder/file and synchronize. However, the new 
 
folder/file does show up until I do a shadow copy.  In the documentation it 
 
states I should not lose any data, but the last hour between synchronize and 
 
shadow copies.  How can this be possible if data does not show up until I do 
 
a shadow copy 3 or more hours later. It would appear that I would lose more 
 
than an hours worth of data.

Dominic - DPM moves the data from the file server every hour but what you 
 
see in the recovery UI are discrete point in times to recover back to. You 
 
can always create a recovery point (i.e. shadow copy) on demand to recover 
 
the last synchronized data (which will be at max 1 hour old) to recover 
 
from.
