Are there any future plans for heterogeneous file system protection for UNIX 
 
or LINUX using DPM?

It is not on our current plan to support non-MS operating systems in the 
 
next release. However, given that MS Virtual Server will support non MS 
 
operating systems, we'll provide some solutions to back these up using 
 
future versions of DPM.
