Hiding the Target Information of a Shortcut
Hello,

I have designed an application and would be giving access to the same to the

users through shortcuts. Using the shortcuts the users will be executing the

application through these shortcuts. However I do not want them to know the

actual path/location of the exe. I know that this can be done by implementing

I am VERY new to windows C++ application development. I have created a

non-MFC dll that contains functions that are called during the install

dialog box from within my dl ...

Wireless network conection fails after sp2 install.
After installing sp2 on my laptop the wireless network conection fails on

start -up, by powering down then restoring power to my router/modem the

If sp2 is uninstalled then all work in harmony again. I have a Netgear

no safe mode
I need to boot up XP in safe mode to get rid of a virus. My PC won't respond.

I have tried pressing F8 button, repeatedly AND just keeping it down but

nothing happens. On odd occasions when it has loaded onto the screen which

gives you a choice of startup methods I cannot get the arrow keys to work, so

I am forced to boot up in normal mode. Any ideas how I can get it to boot up

in safe mode? It is a fairly high spec system and only a year old.

REASON for this problem…

Since the FIRST config, I’ve changed hard drives, VGA and DVDRW, then I’ve

formatted, after that I’ve changed VGA again and finally added RA ...
