VPN to Windows Server 2008

I have built a testrig of Server2008. I have a Draytek 2800 as my ADSL router.  How do I VPN into the Server? I enter my uname, pw and domain into the VPN setup on my XP SP3 PC. I get a disconnected error 721 message, where do I start looking?
