vfpoledb.1 provider is not registered

Thanks for your reply and as I am new to .net can I just clarify something. I was given advice by a few of you to alter system.web and ASPNet accounts etc. but as my app is a windows forms app I would not have expected that to apply. Am I wrong in this. Does the web stuff apply to all vb.net apps even those running on a stand alone, off the internet, PC?
