Thumbnail image doesn't appear with PDF files ???

Hello all,  my first post here..

Questions:   for some reason when I open Microsoft Explore and view files with thumbnail setting all the files display an image other than PDF.  It just show an program icon.  Can someone tell me how to fix this.
