Microsoft Access - X appears when clicking CheckBox

I am really new to Acces.  Any suggections on reading that will help a beginner LOL.  Anyway, I am try to figure out, how to have a X appear in a checkbox when you click on the box.

Do you mean you want to show a X image in checkbox

I think you can try with CSS

I guess you can hack something using images instead of a real checkbox, using javascript to change the image selection

or
there's fancy-forms to accomplish exactly this

I have know idea what to do with this?  Is there something I can put in VBA? A macro?
