Microsoft Access - Search and Filter fields in Access 2010
Asked By Mahima Chandani on 26-Jun-12 09:16 AM
Hi,
I have an application which is being migrated from Access 2003 to Access 2010.
There are a few formatting issues.. At the bottom of the form where the record selector is shown 2 extra fields for "Filter" and "Search" are displayed in Access 2010. However, I want these 2 fields to be hidden...
Is there any way in which this can be done programatically.. The option for "Record Selector" is NO and "Navigation bar" is YES.
Any help will be appreciated..
Regards,
Mahie

On the Data tab, you can disallow filters, but it still shows the Filter dialog. I cannot see any way to not show the search without turning Navigation Buttons to No. That said, you could set Navigation Buttons to No, then build your own custom buttons in the form footer.
