Windows Vista - Update for Windows Mail Junk E-mail Filter for x64-based Systems [Augu

I have tried just about everything on this one, and not got any joy. 

I have followed the instructions to delete all of the previous download information and even tried doing the system readiness tool.

I have Vista x64 with AMD Athlon 64x2 dual core processor 64000+3.20 Ghz
with 4Gb Ram

Solution-

Install this update for Windows Mail to revise the definition files that are used to detect e-mail messages that should be considered junk e-mail or that may contain phishing content.

Alas despite following the instructions, I have not been successful.  I am told that the update you all have suggested does not apply to my system....
