Windows Vista - how do i turn on the caps lock balloon

I have somehow lost the ballon that notifies you when the caps lock is on can someone advise

this notification is handled by BTTray.exe process. You must edit the following registry entries to ged rid of this ugly alert:

 Press WinKey and type "regedit" > navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Widcomm > BTConfig > General > KeyIndication

Change the value of "KeyIndication" from "1" to "0"

Reboot..

And the nasty notification is gone!

To disable balloon tips in the notification area, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then press ENTER.
2. Locate the following subkey:
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
3. Right-click the right side pane, create a new DWORD value, and then name it EnableBalloonTips.
4. Double-click EnableBalloonTips, and then give it a value of 0.
5. Close Registry Editor.
6. Log off Windows, and then log back on.

So go on this way on that path if u find EnableBalloonTips then change its value and log off and check

Step 1 : 
Open Control Panel/Ease of Access Center.

Step 2 :
Select the Make the Keyboard easier to use item.

Step 3 :
Remove the check marks from Turn on Toggle Keys and Turn on Toggle Keys by holding down the NUM LOCK key for 5 seconds.

Click Apply/OK.

Done !

Thanks for your reply,, but I dont want to turn it off I want to be able to see it as I am disabled and fumble the key pad

You can use the accessibility features of Windows to audibly notify you when you've pressed the Caps Lock key. Follow these steps:

1.    Click on Start >> Click Control Panel.

2.    Click Ease Of Access >> Select “Change how your keyboard works” from Ease of Access Center.

3.    Check the Box for Turn on Toggle Keys.

4.    Click Apply. Click OK.

The ToggleKeys feature, when turned on, will beep whenever the Caps Lock, Num Lock, or Scroll Lock keys are pressed.
